The D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, in collaboration with the Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University, is seeking candidates for one open tenured or tenure-track position at all levels (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor). We are interested in applicants with interdisciplinary expertise in management and health care, aligned with the school’s mission of learning across borders and leading with impact and its strategic initiatives on artificial intelligence, sustainability, and digital transformation, as well as interests in the healthcare industry and management. The position will primarily be on the Boston campus, but there is also a possibility of affiliations at other campuses within the Northeastern University global network. The successful candidate will hold a joint appointment between the D’Amore-McKim School of Business (primary appointment at 75%) and the Bouvé College of Health Sciences (secondary appointment at 25%).

The Bouvé College of Health Sciences has over 250 faculty members, with approximately 2,000 undergraduate and 2,400 graduate students. It is the leading national model for education and research in the health, psychosocial, and biomedical sciences and supports the University’s mission of educating students for a life of fulfillment and accomplishment and creating and translating knowledge to meet global and societal needs. The College comprises four schools with eight departments: 1) School of Clinical and Rehabilitation Sciences (Departments of Communication Sciences and Disorders, Medical Sciences, and Physical Therapy, Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences); 2) School of Community Health and Behavioral Sciences (Departments of Applied Psychology and Health Sciences); 3) School of Nursing; 4) School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (Departments of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacy and Health System Sciences).
Successful candidates will develop and execute independent research programs; teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels; and participate in service to the group, D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Bouve College of Health Sciences, Northeastern University, and discipline.
Candidates interested in conducting high-impact research programs and teaching excellence in the areas above are encouraged to apply. Candidates must hold a doctorate in management or a related field by the appointment start date. Candidates for appointment at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level must be outstanding scholars with an international reputation for excellence in research, teaching, and service, along with clear indications of continued research success. Appointments at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level will be commensurate with experience and qualifications reflecting a record of demonstrated teaching and scholarly excellence.
