Professor of Professional Practice (Description)
Columbia Business School seeks qualified faculty applicants for a Professor of Professional Practice (or an Assistant or Associate level candidate) with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Future to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their professional background, teaching, and/or service. As a Professor of Professional Practice, the candidate will contribute to the School pedagogically by developing curriculum and teaching up to 6 courses per year in the MBA and Executive MBA programs about Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Future and related topics. The incumbent is expected to be a key contributor to the School, and to provide leadership in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Future. There will be opportunities to work with a team of professional staff to provide academic vision and strategic leadership to School-wide Initiatives. This position is expected to begin on or after July 1, 2025.
Tenured Associate or Full (Requirements)
Applicants for an associate and professor level appointment (with tenure) should have a PhD from an accredited institution, a record of being an outstanding scholar in every respect, including research and teaching, and should combine exceptional disciplinary training with a strong interest in the professional mission of the school.
Applicants should have accomplishments and a scholarly standing comparable to the very best scholars in their field.
