The Division of Behavioral and Organizational Sciences (DBOS) at Claremont Graduate University (CGU)invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Industrial & Organizational Psychology.
We are seeking a scholar dedicated to advancing graduate education and research in I/O psychology — especially in personnel selection, training & development, and performance management.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct and publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research.
Seek external funding and present at professional conferences.
Teach graduate-level courses in I/O psychology, with opportunities to design new curriculum.
Mentor graduate students on theses/dissertations and career development.
Contribute to departmental service and program development.

The DBOS offers MA, PsyD, and PhD degrees in industrial/organizational psychology, organizational behavior, and positive organizational psychology. DBOS also offers programs in applied social psychology, positive developmental psychology, evaluation, and user experience. The organizational psychology faculty includes Michelle Bligh, Jessica Diaz, Stewart Donaldson, Stephen Gilliland, Gloria Gonzales-Morales, and Becky Reichard. Some faculty in organizational psychology also have dual appointments in the Drucker School of Management. DBOS is a strong, collegial community of 20 core faculty, roughly half tenure-track and half professors of practice and research professors.
CGU is an independent institution devoted entirely to graduate study. The city of Claremont is a charming small town located 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles and less than 50 miles from Southern California beaches. CGU is a member of The Claremont Colleges, a highly regarded cluster of seven independent colleges.
