Position Summary

Bryant University’s College of Business invites applications for a dynamic scholar/practitioner to help shape the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders. Building on Bryant’s national reputation for innovation, the successful candidate will contribute to a forward-thinking Entrepreneurship program that integrates academic rigor with real-world, venture-creation experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Curriculum Development
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in entrepreneurship, innovation, and new-venture management.
• Develop new courses that incorporate the use of the Makerspace and cutting-edge methodologies, including:
• Design Thinking
• Rapid Prototyping
• Lean Startup Principles
• Artificial Intelligence Applications
• Faculty Liaison Duties
• Serve as the faculty liaison to the Center for Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking, housed within the Business, Entrepreneurship & Leadership Center (BELC).
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Makerspace & Design Thinking to integrate experiential learning into both curricular and co-curricular initiatives.
• Research
• Conduct and publish high-quality scholarly work in entrepreneurship or related fields in alignment with AACSB standards.
• Mentorship & Leadership
• Mentor students and faculty engaged in entrepreneurial ventures or research.
• Advise Bryant’s chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO).
• Provide strategic guidance for Makerspace and College of Business initiatives.
• Support student participation in business plan competitions, incubators, and venture accelerators.
• University Service
• Actively participate in departmental, college, and university-wide committees and initiatives.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration with departments such as Data Science, Health Sciences, and the Liberal Arts.

Qualifications

• Education
• Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution (ABD considered with completion by August 2026).
• Experience & Skills
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and an emerging or established research record.
