Job Summary: The Management Department in the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management beginning August 18, 2025. Specific background in Strategic Management or other related management disciplines. Duties: Teach 15-16 credit hours (onsite, off-site, and online) per academic year at the Undergraduate or Graduate levels; perform research consistent with college expectations; and participate in department-, college-, and university-level service activities.
Minimums Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree or ‘ABD’ in Management or equivalent discipline from an AACSB or equivalent accredited university – Appropriate terminal degree completed by August 1, 2025. Persons who are ABD will be hired at the rank of Instructor until the Doctorate is completed (and must be completed within the first year of employment at CSU);
A primary interest and experience in teaching Strategic Management courses, and evidence of having taught least 2 (two) sections of relevant courses;
Candidates must be research active.
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful experience teaching strategy or related courses at an AACSB accredited university;
A research record demonstrating impact on the field of strategic management or one that demonstrates the potential for impact.
