The AACSB accredited College of Business at Louisiana State University Shreveport seeks applications from qualified scholars for two tenure-track positions in Health Administration at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in August of 2025. Applications will be considered from all areas of Health Administration for individuals who meet our AACSB qualifications.
The selected candidate will report to the Chair of the James K. Elrod Department of Health Administration. The selected candidate will be expected to teach face-to-face and online undergraduate and graduate courses. The Master of Health Administration (MHA) program at the university is a growing, highly competitive, and rigorous online program. Successful candidates will typically have prior experience in the healthcare sector, enabling them to enrich their teaching with industry expertise and guide students in developing the skills necessary to succeed in this dynamic and evolving field. The candidate will be expected to produce scholarship at a level consistent with our AACSB Scholarly Academic standards. The candidate will be expected to actively engage in activities serving the department, college, university, community, and discipline.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should have a terminal degree in Health Administration, or a closely related area, from an AACSB accredited institution. ABD applicants with an expected completion date prior to August 2025 will be considered. Candidates must demonstrate teaching excellence and a record of published research commensurate with years of experience. The candidate must be qualified to teach in health administration and a related business discipline.
