Assistant Professor, Department of Management with a focus in management, human resources management, and/or organizational behavior in the Schmidthorst College of Business. This is a 9-month tenure-track academic appointment beginning in August 2025.

Essential Functions
Primary teaching responsibility is in, human resources management, organizational behavior, organization development, and leadership and change management. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, active engagement in research and publication, advising dissertation projects, and involvement in department, college, university, and professional service. Expectations include teaching and active involvement in the Allen W. and Carol M. Schmidthorst College of Business’ Doctorate of Organization Development and Change program and the Executive Master of Organization Development program.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include an earned Ph.D. with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior, Organization Development, Management, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited program or equivalent. Doctorate in hand is preferred, but candidates with a strong probability of completion by August 2025 will be considered.
A successful candidate is expected to have demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research. Candidate must meet the College’s requirements for AACSB qualification to be considered for this position which include a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience after the completion of the master’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications Evidence of successful teaching experience at the college-level desired, graduate and well as undergraduate teaching experience will be preferred. Experience teaching both in person and online is also preferred.
Candidates will be evaluated on their teaching potential, research potential, and their potential to contribute to the programs in the department of management and the mission of the Allen W. and Carol M. Schmidthorst College of Business and Bowling Green State University.
