Primary Job Duties:

Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, either face-to-face or online, maintaining an active research agenda and publishing, advising students, and providing service to the division, college, and university. For those hired as Assistant Professors, the initial teaching load and service expectations are reduced to allow time for research. Those hired as Associate or Full Professors may also have reduced teaching loads if highly research productive. We maintain ample research databases, including WRDS, Bloomberg, CRSP, and DataStream. The successful candidate, regardless of rank, is expected to demonstrate and maintain a commitment to publish in discipline-based peer-reviewed journals, teaching effectiveness, and meet university requirements supporting AACSB accreditation. Applicants are expected to be flexible, accessible, and versatile to teach in different modalities and levels.

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will hold a PhD /DBA in Management or a closely related field with at least 18 hours of graduate coursework in Management or International Business from an AACSB-accredited school. ABDs can also be considered if they can complete their degree before the start date. For those hired as Associate or Full Professors, candidates must have a record of publications commensurate to rank as well as teaching experience commensurate to rank (at least 5 years of full-time teaching experience in a university setting). Tenure will only be granted after approval of The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents.
