Tenure-track Organizational Behavior & Theory faculty position opening at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University for appointment at the untenured (Assistant) level.
Applicants should demonstrate achievement of, or potential for, excellence in research and in teaching MBA, doctoral, and undergraduate students. Applicants should have a PhD at the time of appointment (Fall 2026) in a discipline related to Organizational Behavior (including Organizational Behavior, Management, Strategy, Psychology, Sociology or interdisciplinary programs). The ideal candidate can discuss organizational behavior and management across a variety of industries and business problems that face managers in today’s business environment. The OBT faculty at the Tepper School specialize in the areas such as inter- and intra-group behavior, human-AI teaming, social networks, organizational learning, conflict and negotiations, status and power, motivation and incentives, ethics, organization design, entrepreneurship, and strategy with a specific focus on inter-disciplinary and cross-level research.
