The Department of Global Leadership and Management within the College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track open-rank position in Management to begin during the academic year 25-26 (targeted start dates are Fall 2025 or Spring 2026). The advertised position is at the Assistant Professor level but exceptional candidates at Associate and Professor ranks may also be considered pending approval for hiring at those ranks. Doctoral candidates completing their PhD in AY 25-26 are also encouraged to apply. The position requires a Ph.D. in Management, Human Resources, or a related field of study (e.g., industrial psychology, organizational psychology).  Applicants should have a record of demonstrated excellence as a scholar and teacher, and evidence of strong research productivity.

The Department of Global Leadership and Management houses a nationally ranked Master of Science in Human Resource Management (MSHRM) and BBA in Human Resource Management. We are especially interested in applicants who can teach effectively in these high priority programs. We also offer a BBA in Management, as well as a Ph.D., which focuses on topics related to Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Leadership and Cross-cultural Management. The undergraduate and graduate programs are offered in a traditional format as well as a fully online format.  

Our faculty are well-regarded scholars in the fields of Human Resources, Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and International Management and have published in the field’s best journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Personnel Psychology. They also serve on editorial boards of top journals including Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Leadership Quarterly, and Journal of Management.
