Postdoctoral Research Fellow

The research project (Collaboration between Competitors in Product Innovation) is based at York University, Toronto, Canada, and is planned to be undertaken over three years.    

A recently completed (within the last three years) or near completion Ph.D. in Management, Strategy, Health Services Administration, Economics, Sociology, or a related field is a minimum requirement. Evidence of coursework and/or experiences with statistical data modeling or econometrics. Research or professional experience with pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Knowledge and experience with accessing and analyzing patent data are required. Regular mentorship and training will be provided by Professor Fuminori Toyasaki and Professor Johnny Rungtusanatham. Research findings are expected to be disseminated via academic manuscripts that can be submitted to top journals such as those on the Financial Times journal list. The research project is supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
