The Helzberg School of Management in the College of Business and Technology at Rockhurst University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management. Successful candidates will be able to teach a variety of Management courses at the undergraduate and graduate level and maintain an active research agenda.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach: Principles of Management; International Management; Corporate Social Responsibility; and Capstone courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
A Ph.D. in Management or a related discipline is required. Exceptional ABD candidates with a documented plan of completion will be considered.
The Helzberg School of Management is AACSB accredited, and Helzberg faculty are assessed in the areas of teaching, research, and service. Experience with online and hybrid teaching is preferred. The teaching load is 18-21 credit hours per year, divided between undergraduate, graduate, and executive business programs. Faculty are required to maintain an active research agenda, with regular publications in peer-reviewed, academic journals in their field. We are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to our commitment to research in the areas of reducing inequalities and supporting good health and well-being. Faculty members in the College of Business & Technology are expected to reside in the Kansas City Metropolitan area.
