Associate Professorship in Financial Management (100%)
The University of St.Gallen and its School of Management are seeking candidates for an Associate Professorship in Financial Management per 1 February 2026 or by mutual agreement.
The focus of the position covers one or more of the following core areas of financial management: financial accounting, management accounting, auditing. The focus of activities will be on teaching in the Master in Accounting and Corporate Finance (MACFin), by far the largest Master's programme at the University of St.Gallen.
The ideal candidate is expected to be able to teach courses in German and English. Applicants should be able to offer innovative teaching concepts in the elective area and be prepared to take on long-term responsibility for the compulsory courses of the MACFin programme and the assessment year. The future holder of the position is looking for a long-term future at the University of St.Gallen.
Candidates will also be committed to publishing in relevant journals and participating in subject-related conferences. In the medium term, the future post holder is expected to assume responsibility in academic self-administration, possibly also in the management of the MACFin. The future post holder will also have a professional network at their disposal to promote the position and the MACFin in both teaching and practice.
