About This Role
The Department of Management in the College of Business Administration (CBA) at K-State is seeking applicants for a non-tenure-track, full-time Teaching Assistant Professor position in the Entrepreneurship area.
The candidate will be responsible for research, teaching, and service activities in the CBA.
Research: Consistent with departmental guidelines, the candidate will be expected to publish in high-quality academic journals in the entrepreneurship and/or management area in order to maintain appropriate accreditation status.
Teaching: Desired area of teaching experience or interest must focus on entrepreneurship, but can include supplementary areas in management.
Service: The individual selected will also be expected to demonstrate a commitment to collegiality and shared governance. As a part of this role, the individual will undertake service for the benefit of the department or college, such as being as a advisor to a student organization, participating in departmental or college events, and/or serving on departmental or college committees as needed.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or a closely related area from an AACSB accredited university. ABDs will also be considered but must be in a position to complete their Ph.D. within 6 months of their employment date at Kansas State University.
- Ability to publish in high-quality journals in entrepreneurship and management and to maintain a research record that will allow for appropriate accreditation credentials.
- Ability to teach in the area of entrepreneurship and other closely related disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong research record as demonstrated through publications in top academic journals and presentations at national academic conferences.
- Prior college teaching experience in the area of entrepreneurship, small business management or a closely related field.
- Professional work experience related to entrepreneurship or small business management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to understanding one's own experiences and the perspectives of diverse others in an effort to cultivate strong relationships and effective collaboration.
