The Organizational Behavior (OB) faculty group at Rice Business at Rice University in Houston, Texas, invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior positions. We welcome both rookie and experienced candidates at the assistant professor level. The appointment will commence on July 1, 2026. Successful candidates are expected to produce interesting, high-quality research in organizational behavior, publish in top journals, and teach undergraduate, MBA, or doctoral courses in the field of OB.
The OB faculty at Rice University takes pride in publishing high-impact research in top-tier journals and strives to provide transformative learning experiences for our highly ranked undergraduate and MBA programs. The OB group provides an excellent work environment within a top-tier business school and a growing PhD program. A major expansion of our physical space to accommodate our expanding enrollment will be completed by the end of the academic year.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have completed all the requirements for a Ph.D. in OB or a related field by July 1st of the year employment commences. Candidates must have demonstrated strong potential to achieve excellence in scholarly research, top journal publications, and excellence of teaching in the field of OB.
