The Department of Management at the Anderson School of Management is seeking to fill the position of Assistant Professor in Strategic Management to begin August 2026, depending on funding approval.
The Anderson School of Management is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International and is one of the few programs in the world to attain both an Accounting and Business Accreditation from AACSB. We provide a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program with 8 dynamic concentrations, alongside specialized Master's degrees in Accounting, Project Management, and Cybersecurity & Analytics. Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must possess an earned doctorate or have a strong prospect for completing a doctorate in Strategic Management or a closely related field by August 2026.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strength of preparation and promise of scholarship?in strategic management or a related discipline
Ability to teach undergraduate courses and graduate seminars, including a demonstrated ability or interest in teaching core management courses, including Strategy Management and other core and elective management courses such as Business & Society, Sustainability Business, and International Management.
Evidence or promise of excellence in collegiality and collaboration in teaching, scholarship and service
A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities
