Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position in Management, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship
SMU’s Cox School of Business invites applications for non-tenure track full-time position in the Management, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship (MSE) Department. Competitive applicants should have a Ph.D. in Management or Entrepreneurship (or a related field), or extensive business experience in startups, venture capital, corporate innovation, or related areas, an established record of high-quality teaching, and demonstrated contributions to the field or industry. Faculty will be expected to teach 24 credit hours per year, participate in university service and to deliver high-quality instruction in courses across the School’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, which include online teaching. The position will begin in Fall 2026.
Minimum qualifications: Graduate degrees in Management, MBA, or Master degree in Entrepreneurship, Innovation or significant business experience in startups, venture capital, corporate innovation, or related areas; three-year experience teaching entrepreneurship courses at a university level, preferably at a business school.
Preferred qualifications: Ph.D., DBA in entrepreneurship, business, or a related field from an accredited university; established record of high-quality teaching at a university level; in-person and online teaching experience; demonstrated contributions to the field or industry; experience in startups, venture capital, corporate innovation, or related areas.
