The Goizueta Business School of Emory University invites applicants for a full-time Teaching Track faculty position at the level of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor. The teaching track position focuses on business communication strategy in the Organization and Management (O&M) area beginning Fall of 2025. The faculty position requires teaching six courses a year across the fall and spring semesters. Teaching will include, but may not be limited to, the core undergraduate class, BUS365, Business Communication Strategy.
Successful applicants will ideally have a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching both graduate and undergraduate students. Relevant experience in industry or other structured organizations leading to competencies in the functional fields of business is a plus. On a very exceptional basis, outstanding candidates with a master’s or a terminal degree and highly relevant commensurate experience may be considered.
In addition to teaching, the applicant should have the desire and ability to participate in communication-related student support services in writing and presentation coaching. Regular service to the Goizueta community through committee work and/or school and university initiatives is a requirement, consistent with expectations for all Goizueta full-time faculty. Successful applicants with the background to teach in and support the school’s various curricular and non-curricular leadership and professional development programs will be considered to do so on an as-needed basis. Candidates should embrace a climate that values diversity in all its forms and to support that commitment through teaching and service.
