Established in 1999, the School of Management (SOM) anchors its programs in two core disciplines: (1) Business Administration – ranked 46th nationally (top 20%) in Soft Science China's Best Disciplines 2024 and recognized as an A-type first-class disciplines at Zhejiang provincial-level; (2) Management Science & Engineering – designated a Zhejiang B-type first-class disciplines. The school features four National First-Class Undergraduate Programs (Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resource Management, E-Commerce) and one Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Program (Information Management & Information Systems). The SOM offers a PhD program in Business Administration, three master of philosophy programs (Enterprise Management, Technology Economy & Management, Management Science & Engineering), and a MBA program. Our People The School of Management (SOM) currently has 116 faculty and staff members, including 95 full-time teachers. The proportion of senior professional titles reaches 56.84%. We are now continuously advancing the "New Finance and Economics Strategy" action plan, focusing on directions such as digital intelligence technology and innovation management, artificial intelligence and big data management, digital economy and digital management, and has produced a number of high-quality academic achievements with significant visibility. In the past five years, nearly 400 academic papers have been published in top domestic journals such as Management World (in Chinese) and Economic Research Journal (in Chinese), as well as UTD24 and FT50 journals. The SOM has undertaken more than 30 projects funded by the National Social Science Fund (including major and key projects) and the National Natural Science Foundation, and over 70 provincial and ministerial-level projects.
