Luiss is particularly interested in attracting academics who have submitted – or are in the process of developing – a proposal to apply for a European Research Council (ERC) grant.
The University reserves the right not to fill the advertised positions or to fill them through invitation or competition. Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Located in Rome, Luiss specialises in the social sciences and educates over 10,000 students in a diverse and international learning environment. The University has started a major recruitment campaign to consolidate its position in the social sciences and broaden its scope to include humanities, artificial intelligence, and security. Through its close ties with Confindustria, Italy’s largest industrial association, Luiss has developed connections with the business community, government institutions and civil society. With more than 300 international partnerships, Luiss offers over 50 double and triple degree programmes and is an active member of university networks (e.g., QTEM and the European University ENGAGE.EU).
Luiss is an equal opportunity employer and adopts active inclusion policies. Luiss offers competitive family allowance packages, as well as assistance for welcoming new international faculty. Fiscal incentives are offered by Italian law to individuals relocating from abroad.
