Quantitative Analysis of Markets and Organizations (QAMO) is an academic unit within the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business. We are economists with common interests in the application of economics to business decision-making. We seek to hire one or more outstanding economists to tenure-track positions for the 2025-26 academic year. We are open to hiring at the Associate and Professor Levels, with rank subject to qualifications. We may also be interested in hiring an outstanding candidate at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants should possess a doctorate or be near completion.
Successful candidates will conduct high-quality scholarship that complements our growing research community. The Eccles School is a world-class business school with a rich history of excellence in education and research. Salaries, research support, and teaching loads are competitive with top economics departments and business schools, and the fringe benefits are excellent.
Applications will be accepted until November 1, 2025 or until positions are filled.
All qualified individuals are strongly encouraged to apply. Veterans’ preference is extended to qualified applicants, upon request and consistent with University policy and Utah state law. Upon request, reasonable accommodations in the application process will be provided to individuals with disabilities.
